The country continues to develop in a controversial manner. On the one hand the Euro 2012 was almost perfectly organized (at least that is what UEFA says), on the other hand, just few days after the championship ended, the harsh political confrontation resumed. Russia has made it clear that a gas contract revision in exchange for nothing is not an option. At the same time, Ukraine has been quite lucky in attracting foreign loans. All the factors indicate that we can hardly talk about some clearly outlined scenario or trend this fall. But we still expect negative news to dominate in 2H 2012. More about recent tendencies you can read in our new report “Saved by a Cash Surprise”. The full report could be obtained through subscription at Global Source (www.globalsourcepartners.com).
