New issues of monthly publications “Ukrainian Economy: Monthly Review # 3 (2) / 2005 (August)” and “Privatization: Monthly Review # 2 / 2005 (August)” were prepared. They contain an analysis of developments in real and budget spheres, households’ revenues and privatization processes in July 2005.

New issue of monthly publication “Ukrainian Economy: Monthly Review # 3 (1) / 2005 (August)” was prepared. Review # 3 (1) / 2005 contains an analysis of developments of inflation, forex and financial markets as well as situation in monetary sphere in July 2005.

New issues of monthly publications “Ukrainian Economy: Monthly Review # 2 (2) / 2005 (July)” and “Privatization: Monthly Review # 1 / 2005 (July)” were prepared. They contain an analysis of developments in real and external spheres, households’ revenues and privatization processes in June 2005.

It took place a meeting of International Expert Group with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko. The discussion-topic of the meeting was the major macroeconomic risks of fiscal policy in 2005-2007. The Expert Group includes the representatives of CASE Warsaw Marek Dabrovski and CASE Ukraine Volodymyr Dubrovskiy, Oleksandr Rohozynsky, Inna Golodniuk.

Vladimir Dubrovskiy, a Leading Researcher in CASE Ukraine has made a presentation named: “Corruption in Ukraine: Behind and Beyound the Orange Revolution” at the World Bank’s ABCDE conference SECURING DEVELOPMENT IN AN UNSTABLE WORLD (May 23-24, 2005, Amsterdam, The Netherlands).

Vladimir Dubrovskiy, a Leading Researcher in CASE Ukraine has made a presentation named: “The Political-Economic and Institutional Framework for Assessing the Business Environment in Ukraine” at the Compact Seminar on International Development “Development Challenges in Ukraine and in Eastern Europe: Which Role for Multilateral and Bilateral Agencies and for the Private Sector?” arranged by the Kyiv-Mohila business school in cooperation with the World Bank (June 13-14, 2005, Kyiv, Ukraine).

New issue of quarterly publication “Ukraine Economic Outlook: Tendencies, Estimates, Forecasts” was prepared. Outlook #2’2005 contains an analysis of developments in industrial, monetary, fiscal, and trade spheres in the first quarter of 2005 and a forecast of basic macroeconomic indicators for 2005 and 2006.
