CASE Ukraine executive director Dmytro Boyarchuk told “Express” newspaper about decline in exports and seek new markets for Ukrainian producers.- Ukrainian exports declined by 11%. Why? The loss of the Russian market or have other reasons?
- Our exports of goods amounted to 16.62 billion dollars, imports 17.3 billion, in the first half-year. The negative balance of foreign trade amounted to 683 million dollars. Indeed, a significant problem for our exporters was the closure of the Russian market. However, this factor for us is no longer decisive. Reduced exports due also with the occupied territories. It plays a negative role. But gradually we will go to other markets and increase supply.
